QUEBEC — With the clock ticking to a proposed July 1 legalization date, hearings into the province’s new recreational cannabis bill resume Tuesday.
About 20 groups are to appear over the next two days as part of this stage of the legislative process to adopt Bill 157, the law establishing Quebec’s cannabis consumption and distribution rules.
About 80 have appeared in all since the bill was presented in November. The two days of hearings will mark the end of the consultation process.
